It’s getting hotter and hotter here in Florida which is not a bad thing! I love our springtime weather and how we always seem to have a breeze wafting over our faces. It's the perfect time for this cocktail. I call it a Strawberry Lemonade Twist.
I have made two pitchers of this drink and they are gone within days.My friend Jo liked them a lot when she was visiting last weekend. She said "Man these are delicious! You don’t taste the lemon vodka but you sure feel it after a few!" I couldn’t help but laugh at her statement.
There is one thing I would change next Time I make this and that is instead of using chopped Strawberries, I am going to use strawberry nectar or juice. It would work just the same. Due to the freeze we had here in Florida now all the strawberries are dirt cheep it would be more expensive to buy the nectar than the fresh berries.
