This has to be one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time! A floor washing robot! It can be programmed to prep, wash, scrub and dry the floor all by itself. Below is the product information but I must say for $299.99 this better also serve me tea! At this point in time I cant imagine spending $300 on something a Swiffer Wet Mop can do (For the most part). But it would be nice to dream wouldn’t it?!

While looking at viewpoints.com, there users only gave the product a 3.5 out of 5. One of the biggest issues I have seem to come across with the Scooba machines is the fact that you cant use any cleaning solution you want. It is either, Clorox Scooba Solution, white vinegar, or plain water. That’s it! Another drawl back I see is the time it takes this little thing to clean a floor! 30 minutes! Heck with that It would have only taken me 10 minutes to clean my kitchen floors with a Swiffer Wet Mop. But if your a busy mom, or have lots of errands that day I could see where this could be useful.
On a side note though, when I was in high school, there was a board where people in the community would ask for students to help with odd jobs so I saw one for someone to do light housekeeping. I felt bad because I thought that high school kids probably would not pick this job and it really sounded like she needed help so I took it.
That's the day I met Mrs. Paula, a woman who taught me a lot about antiques, manners, and the old ways of doing things such as cleaning. I sure could have used one of these Robots! The first day I came to clean for her I asked her where her mop was and she handed me a bucket, Ajax, and scrub brush. I knew then I would be cleaning the floors on my hands and knees. I didn’t clean floors like that at my own house! It has been many years later and I sometimes clean the kitchen floor on my hands and knees and when I do I cant help but chuckle as I remember Mrs. Paula. She was a hoot for sure!
